TalkTalk Gives Away D-Link Routers to Customers

September 26, 2016

TalkTalk and AOL Broadband’s business has grown by more than 21% in 2015, which means they now have 2.6 million users.

It looks like one of the big beneficiaries from this success will be D-Link, the well known router manufacturer.

The companies have entered into a twenty four month contract that will see D-Link supply routers that TalkTalk will give to their customers for home broadband service.

The model chosen is the DSL-2640R, Wireless G broadband router, of which the first deliveries have already begun.

In a green initiative, D-Link will offer to collect the old routers for disposal as part of the service. This is part of the company’s environmental commitments.
